IDEMIA Public Security Launches Arkansas Mobile ID in Samsung Wallet in Partnership with Arkansas DFA’s Division of Driver Services and Motor Vehicles and Samsung

Arkansas residents can now access their secure Arkansas Mobile ID credential from their Samsung Wallet.
RESTON, Va., Oct. 13, 2025 — IDEMIA Public Security North America, the leading provider of secure and trusted biometric-based solutions, announced the launch of Arkansas Mobile ID to Samsung Wallet in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA)’s Division of Driver Services and Motor Vehicles and Samsung.
Arkansans can now securely store their mobile ID in their Samsung Wallet on a Samsung Galaxy device1 and use their identity credential to verify their identity at TSA checkpoints at participating airports across the country, including Little Rock (LIT) and Northwest Arkansas (XNA) airports.
Mobile ID in Samsung Wallet can also be used to verify a user’s identity at participating businesses and organizations, providing a new level of convenience and security for Arkansas residents. Mobile ID in Samsung Wallet is easily accessible for Arkansans by tapping their device near the mobile ID reader or scanning the QR code. Arkansans can also continue to access their mobile ID through the free Arkansas mobile ID app, which IDEMIA built and rolled out for Arkansas in March 2025.
“The launch of Arkansas mobile ID to Samsung Wallet gives Arkansas residents another secure, convenient way to access their identity credential,” said Rob Gardner, CEO, IDEMIA Civil Identity. “We’re excited to continue growing our partnerships with both the Arkansas DFA and Samsung to ensure Arkansas residents trust that their identity, privacy, and security is our top priority, while giving them access to their credential through the platforms they use the most.”
To securely add an Arkansas driver’s license or state ID in Samsung Wallet, Arkansans can click the Add (+) button in the “Quick Access” tab on the Samsung Wallet app and select “Digital IDs.” The process guides residents through on-screen instructions to set up and verify their identity.
