KAIJU NO. 8 THE GAME ★5 Kikoru in Her Santa Suit is Here to Bring the Holiday Cheer!
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 22, 2025 — Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME, co-produced by Akatsuki Games, TOHO, and Production I.G, announces that ★5 [Full-Power Christmas] Kikoru Shinomiya, appearing in Main Story Chapter 6, will be available as a playable character just in time for the holidays. A Defender who specializes in recovery and buff support, Kikoru brings healing and defensive utility to her squad.
The next Raid Battle against Kaiju No. 10 (Giant Form) is scheduled to begin on December 22 (JST, UTC+9). Players can cooperate to challenge the Kaiju and earn raid rewards.

★5 [Full-Power Christmas] Kikoru Shinomiya joins the roster in this update. In Main Story Chapter 6 she appears in a Santa suit; unlike Gen Narumi, Kikoru is reluctant to join the Christmas event due to a memory tied to the holiday — players can learn more in Chapter 6.
This version of Kikoru functions as a Defender focused on protecting allies. Her Combat Skills and Ultimate Skill provide HP recovery, buff application, and debuff removal. By leveling up and acquiring an additional passive skill, Kikoru can revive a single fallen ally, strengthening her role as a key support for squads.

Based on the manga by Naoya Matsumoto (serialized on Shonen Jump+ since 2020), the Kaiju No. 8 anime follows battles between the Japan Defense Force and monstrous Kaiju.
