GracoRoberts Achieves All-Important DoD CMMC 2.0 Level II Certification

ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct. 7, 2025
GracoRoberts announced that it has achieved its CMMC Level II certification with a perfect score of 110, having successfully implemented all security controls outlined in NIST SP 800-171. The company also completed key measures to mitigate threats, including C3PAO and self-audits, security and response plans, access control, training, and dedicated support and development resources. This achievement places GracoRoberts among a highly elite group of roughly 350 companies — less than 1% of the Defense Industrial Base — leading the way in cybersecurity excellence.
The Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 program is becoming a requirement for organizations that work with the Department of Defense and handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). For GracoRoberts’ Defense Logistics & Compliance business, the decision to achieve this level of compliance was a forward-looking investment that began in 2017. Karen Ward, GracoRoberts’ Chief Information Officer, said, “Early on, we recognized the critical need for CMMC II compliance and the importance of our cybersecurity posture for our defense customer base and the aerospace community at large. We are proud to demonstrate our unwavering commitment to protect and serve our customers, our military services, and the defense of our nation.”
Jason Caldwell, President & CEO, noted that “CMMC II certification isn’t just a compliance checkbox — it’s a clear gateway to supply chain resilience, a verification of industry-leading security and safety, and a demonstration of continuous operational improvement. Whether our customers choose us for our technical expertise and white-glove service, or the speed and ease of our ecommerce platforms, certification means data privacy, compliance assurance, and next-level customer protection that cements trust with our defense and commercial customers alike.”
GracoRoberts has focused on safeguarding customers’ defense-related contracts and technical data, as well as its own data, systems, and operations. The company remains dedicated to ensuring the protection of sensitive information with a 100% focus on confidentiality, communication, and trust, enabling its role as a trusted supplier within the defense, commercial, and general aviation and aerospace supply chains.
