Iovance Biotherapeutics: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

SAN CARLOS, Calif. (AP) — Iovance Biotherapeutics Inc. (IOVA) on Thursday reported a loss of $97.1 million in its second quarter.

The San Carlos, California-based company said it had a loss of 34 cents per share.

The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 37 cents per share.

The biotechnology company posted revenue of $31.1 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $22.6 million.
