Revolutionizing Retail: Pacsun Launches PS Community Hub, Merging Culture and Commerce in a Digital Community through a New Shoppable App

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9, 2026 — Pacsun is expanding its mission to reshape retail through creator-driven community engagement with the upcoming launch of its proprietary digital platform, PS Community Hub. The brand launched the app the first week of January 2026.

The announcement was made during a discussion at NRF 2026: Retail’s Big Show in New York City focused on Gen Alpha and Gen Z research. The session featured Pacsun CEO Brieane Olson and Business of Fashion contributor Sheena Butler-Young.

PS Community Hub is a first-to-market concept that integrates social connection, creator monetization, and co-creation opportunities—moving beyond traditional retail apps or loyalty programs. Everyday users and creators can collaborate, share authentic content, participate in immersive experiences, and engage with like-minded peers while enjoying social shopping features that convert engagement into sales.

The platform incorporates AI for content review, personalization, customer service, and analytics to enhance e-commerce and social-driven retail. Creators will have tools for content publishing, personal brand building, and monetization through affiliate commissions. The Hub also provides a growth path for creators to increase exposure, unlock opportunities, and enable top users to co-create capsule collections—bridging digital community engagement with real-world product creation.
